She spends another night alone,
the darkness makes her crazy.
She tries to think of the past few days,
but everything’s so hazy.
What she can remember makes her cry;
Lying, hatred, blades and booze.
She needs to feel happy again,
but she’s lost all there is to loose.
Her friends lied and deceived her,
leaving her in the dust,
they claim they want to help the girl,
but they were not the ones to trust.
At last she decides to tell her mother,
all she’s been going through,
her mom is just as fucked as her,
so she’ll know what to do.
She shares her feelings,
and begins to cry,
as she looks up she wonders,
why her mother’s eyes are so dry?
Yet the mother tries to help,
but only makes matters worse,
talking to the ex-best friend,
her feelings begin to reverse.
She accuses the girl of lying,
and doesn’t let her speak,
about how distraught she feels,
but more than anything, weak.
The girl begins to cry again,
coming back into reality,
hoping that with one last wish,
she’ll regain a normal mentality.
She’s taken away to find real help,
but the girl doesn’t want to go.
She wants to sit and reminisce
of the friends she used to know.
She sits in solitude,
the only place she feels sane.
She tries to think,
but its so hard with all the voices in her brain.
They yell and they scream,
overwhelming her slowly,
making her want to burst,
feeling unclean and unholy.
She finds her peace,
in a blade and a bottle,
just to feel anything,
because now she’s so hollow.
The numbness takes over,
she starts to feel lost.
She just wants to feel better,
and free at any cost.
The cuts, they go deeper,
and the bottles run dry.
Soon enough she loses her courage,
all she seems to do is cry.
The depression seeps in,
but what can she do?
She can’t tell a soul,
what she’s been going though.
She’ll appear weak and insane,
and who would ever help,
the crazy girl dying
over how much she hates herself?
She can’t stand to eat,
she needs to be thin.
Now even if they’d want to help,
she won’t let them in.
This hatred continues,
slowly getting worse,
the only way she’ll escape,
is through the back of a hearse.
It happens one day,
when she finally snaps,
she makes a decision
that she can never take back.
She walks through the rain,
slowly at first,
But gaining speed quickly
while feeling her worst.
She peers down from the bridge,
and takes a step closer,
as she lets out her last tear,
her pain is finally over.
She falls from the bridge,
at last feeling free,
crashing in the water,
and drifting out to sea.
